Have to admit I've never been a great fan of Next - they were initially designed to fit a middle space between the rubbish sold on M&S and the top designer brands - i.e. middle of the road and pedestrian. Maybe I'm just a clothes snob, but I like my clothes well made, unbranded and understated, which means either very expensive or very cheap. The middle range stuff just covers this sort of shopping choice very rarely.
